Experience a guided tour of the magnificent Falls and enjoy a variety of activities that are included in the package. You can choose from activities such as canoeing, fishing, visiting a village, and taking a relaxing sundowner cruise. While in Nairobi, visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to witness the adorable baby elephants feed and play.

At the Giraffe Centre, you can hand-feed the giraffes and interact with them. You can also visit the Kazuri Beads factory and watch the skilled women artisans create beautiful bead products.

As you approach Masai Mara, one of Africa's most renowned parks, you'll discover that wildlife watching is exceptional all year round. The vast grassy plains and regular rainfall provide ideal conditions for a diverse population of herbivores, which in turn attract many predators. It's relatively easy to spot all three big cats (lion, leopard, and cheetah).

The annual wildebeest migration passing through the park is one of the most incredible wildlife spectacles in the world, which you wouldn't want to miss.
We will then visit Tsavo East National Park, a vast semi-arid wilderness that is home to a variety of safari animals.

The area offers an amazing opportunity for wildlife viewing as all of the Big Five are present. The birding experience is also excellent, with many dry-country specials. Moreover, the place has a great wilderness appeal with off-the-beaten-track options.

The landscape is magnificent, with scenic landmarks such as the Galana River, Aruba Dam, Mudanda Rock, the longest lava flow in the world, Luggard Falls, and Taita Hills.

After exploring the national parks, our journey will end at Coastline in Diani where you can relax on the beautiful white sandy beach.

During your visit, you will have an opportunity to enjoy a town tour and also take an excursion to Wasini Island where you can interact with dolphins and snorkel in the clear seawater to see the corals.

Additionally, we will take a tour of the island to learn about the traditions, culture, and way of life of the locals.

Lastly, spend a day or two in Nairobi to relax and shop at the Masai Market before heading home.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will begin your Kenya safari adventure. You can transfer directly to your first destination, take the rest of the day to get acclimated to the new time zone, or go on an independent city tour. Your overnight stay can either be in Nairobi or outside of the city.

      DAY 1 & 2: NAIROBI - WELCOME TO KENYA.

Your African adventure will start in Nairobi, the vibrant capital of Kenya. You will be warmly welcomed and taken to your luxurious hotel when you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Additionally, you can visit the National Museum to gain an interesting insight into the country's history.

You have the entire day to explore the city, including the Nairobi National Park, just beyond the city boundaries. The park offers a taste of what you can expect to see during the safari. You'll be treated to delicious cocktails in the evening, a safari orientation, and a welcome dinner.

The helicopter will fly and follow the gorge eastward before returning to the Falls to drop you down. The propellers will stop, and another sound will take over that convinces you why the locals call this Mosi oa Tunya - the smoke then thunders.

While Victoria Falls's aesthetics are inspiring, the power of the falls will prove unforgettable. The spray rains down, and you cannot escape it. Like on safari, you will completely immerse in everything this natural theater offers.

After your guided walk along the falls, you can cross the bridge into Zimbabwe and see them from the other side. Later in the afternoon, you will return to your hotel for lunch, and the day will eventually end in the hotel.

DAY 9: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE – WILDEBEEST ALONG THE MARA RIVER.

Every year, between June and July, more than a million wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River to move from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara. From June to September, the Mara plains are filled with these herds. However, wildlife is abundant all year round, as not all wildebeest and zebras migrate.

Most big cats stay in their territories to protect them and wait for the prey to come. When you visit this famous reserve, you are guaranteed to see galloping herds of wildebeest, large zebras, and various predators.

Today, you will go on a full-day game drive to explore the Masai Mara and discover where most animals gather. On the open grasslands, you will see a leopard hunting as it hides in the grass, waiting to attack a herd of Thomson's gazelles.

You will drive on until you reach a point where a herd of buffalos blocks the trail, and must wait for them to pass. Next, you will see elephant bulls roaming freely in the trees, pushing against the branches while a troop of baboons shouts. You will then move to the Mara River to stop for a picnic with a prime view of the bathing hippos.

After the picnic, you will continue across the plains to a lion pride resting with bloated bellies. Then, you will witness the iconic sight of the big herds as thousands of mammals graze together against a backdrop of predatory fear. One full-day game drive is a perfect way to see these incredible sights and grasp this landscape's enormity.

      ABOUT ACCOMMODATION & MONEY

      About Your Accommodations.
Each hotel is chosen carefully, considering its overall quality, location, cost, food, service, and cleanliness. Standard twin-bedded (two single beds) rooms with private bathrooms are available in every room. Many accommodations are built in the traditional local style and have no air-conditioning. Some of our tours require walking or stairs between tents. During this tour, you may come close to wild animals whose actions can be unpredictable.

Unless otherwise specified, choosing a room is always completely up to the hotel's management on a run-of-house basis.

      Electricity in Safari Camps.
Some camps and lodges rely on generators to supply electricity, which may not always be available. Travelers using power-dependent devices must inform the travel manager in advance so that arrangements can be made to keep them plugged in through the night.

      Electricity Specification
Please note: The U.S. uses 120 volts, and you can purchase a converter and transformer at most hardware stores for your 120V appliances.
Kenya - The voltage used is 220/240 volts, 3-pin square (UK standard)
Tanzania - The voltage used is 230 volts, 3-pin square (UK standard).

      Hotel Check-in/ Check-out.
Hotel check-in times are typically after 4:00 p.m., and check-out times are before midday. Hotels will typically let you store your stuff in their luggage room if you plan on arriving early or leaving late. If the hotel can check you in earlier or let you stay later, inquire at the front desk.

      Currency.
Before you leave your country, we advise that you get a small quantity of currency for the first country you'll be visiting. A smart strategy is to avoid carrying too much cash.
ATMs accept most ATM cards in many countries but only dispense in the local currency.

      Credit Cards
Even while credit cards are generally accepted, having local cash on hand is still a good idea. Let your credit card issuer know you will be traveling to prevent your card from being stopped for security concerns.
      ABOUT YOUR HEALTH

Before signing up for this tour, we suggest you check with your healthcare provider.
