WILDLIFE:

The area is home to the five main species of primates, including the yellow baboon, the Angolan Colobus, the vervet monkey, the Sykes monkey, and bush babies. Diani has over 400 Angolan Colobus, making it one of the country's highest concentrations of such primates. You will also find other marine life, such as dolphins, sharks, sea turtles, and whales, often spotted in the deep blue waters off the Kenyan coast.

Diani is best visited between December and March and June to September. The weather is perfect during these months, with little rain and hot, sunny weather. The Indian Ocean is warm all year round, with the water temperature ranging from 26°C to 29°C. The beach is an all-year-round destination, with something to offer at any time of the year.
HOW TO GET TO DIANI BEACH:
The best way to get to Diani Beach is by flying from Nairobi Wilson Airport to the Diani Airstrip, a fast and affordable option. The other option is to fly from Nairobi's International Airport to Mombasa and then take a taxi to Diani Beach. The third option is the Nairobi-Mombasa express train, which offers a scenic train ride along the coast with a stop at Diani Beach.
