Day 1: Nairobi - Rift Valley View Point - Nakuru 0600 hrs: Depart Nairobi for Nakuru with a stop over at the Great Rift Valley View Point for a photo session.

About The Great Rift Valley.

Formed some five million years ago, the rift cuts through Tanzania, Kenya, and Ethiopia on its way from the Red Sea. The area is ripe with volcanic activities. Among the notable ones includes bubbling geysers, hot springs, lakes, and even Mt. Suswa as you cast your eyes over the plains.

After this short 15 Minutes break, you will then continue to the heart of Lake Nakuru National Park for your crater hike.

0900 hrs: Arrive In Nakuru. We will check in and thereafter proceed to Lake Nakuru National park. Lake Nakuru presents you with a glaring opportunity for you to observe the world renowned vast flock of brightly colored flamingoes in thousands among other millions of the iconic birds that calls the lake's shores their home will will be waiting for you.

Commonly known as bird lover's paradise, this mean that you will enjoy watching the birds as they feed on the banks of the lake forming a flamboyance of pink coloration along the banks. That not being all, you will easily spot other variety of beautiful birds here, including migratory and endemic species, about 400 different species has been recorded in this park.

You will also witness the great herds of different herbivores found around the lake including Rhinos, warthog, Buffaloes, waterbuck, Gazelles, Baboons, Zebras and the rare Rothschild giraffe. Your chances to come face to face with some of Africa's great predators including Lion, Leopard, the Cheetah, Hyenas, Jackals and the serval cat is also relatively high.

Enjoy beautiful scenery and natural vegetation including a forest of yellow acacia, Euphorbia cactus, savannah grasslands, roaring hills, Rocky cliffs and outstanding waterfalls. . Take a breather at the park's highest point the "Baboon cliff" and explore the park's surroundings

1800 hrs: Evening entertainment, dinner and overnight at the Flamingo Hill Camp. Meals Plan: Lunch & Dinner.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha - Nairobi.

0630 hrs: Have an early breakfast and check out, but you can still be allowed to enjoy the lodge facilities, swim, take nature walks, participate in quad biking(at an extra cost) or birdwatching. This is only favorable for self drive tourists.

0700 hrs: Depart for the day's main plan, game drive to Lake Naivasha, Kenya’s highest lake, at 1,880 meters above sea level, a home to animals and bird species.

Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. You will observe Hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores. There are over 300 species of birds to observe. These include the Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, and the Red-billed fire finch. Lunch will be served at Lake Naivasha Sopa Safari Lodge or similar. In the afternoon you will have a complimentary boat trip on the lake or nature walks on crescent Island (At extra cost). You will have the chance to see some of the animals at very close range e.g.  Zebras, Giraffes and Wildebeest.

1500 hrs: Depart for our journey back to Nairobi.

Notes:

• Please be punctual; latecomers will be left behind and forfeit the entire amount paid up.
• Thika Road pickups should make arrangements with the team lead by 8 p.m. on the eve of the event. Pickup stops will be no longer than 5 minutes.
• There will be no shopping stops in the morning. Please stock your supplies by the eve of the event.
• Please adhere to the set turn-back time. Punctual departure for Nairobi means everyone gets back to Nairobi on time.
