Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi - Tsavo West National Park

We will depart at 7am and drive to Tsavo West National Park and enter the park through Tsavo River Gate.

Tsavo West National Park Insights:

The Park is characterized by open plain savannah, semi desert scrub, woodland, Chyulu Hills and rock outcrops. It’s famous for the Red Elephants, Oryx, and Gerenuk among other mammal’s species and bird life.Mzima Springs which are water source for Mombasa Town, Shetani Lava Flow and Ash cones, an example of recent volcanic eruption are part of other scenic features not to miss. If you ever know of the Movie Ghost and the Darkness, you will see familiar scenes in it here at Tsavo west National Park. It was Indeed was shot here.

You will embark on a game drive view in search of the big five in the vast Tsavo. Later proceed to check in at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. After short relaxation, we then head for an afternoon safari game viewing plus a visit to Ngulia Rhino sanctuary in search of the endangered black rhino and other animals.

Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari lodge.

Day 2: Tsavo West National Park: Full Day Game Drive For This Day.

Depart for an early morning game drive before breakfast with a hope of catching site of the big cats before the sun gets too hot. You will be taken for an exclusive wildlife viewing for which includes a visit to Mzima springs where Hippos, Crocodiles, different species of fish can be seen in crystal clear water and lots of different species of birds. At Mzima Spring, underground water seepage from Chyulu hills you will get a sure chance to watch the Hippos. You will also visit the Shetani lava flow where you will be able to see the Africa’s highest snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro (weather permitting) from a distance.

There is also a wealth and diversity of birds’ species for bird lovers. The Park has large number of birds estimated to be over 500 species.

Later at the day end, you will head back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Tsavo West to Nairobi:

The tour guide will drive you for an early morning overview game drive which might lend you a chance if what you may have missed.

After breakfast depart for Nairobi arriving early afternoon.

Thereafter a transfer to your Nairobi hotel or Airport drop off. Airport drop off.
