Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo East National Park
Our driver & guide will pick you up from your hotel / airport in the morning and depart for Tsavo East National park.
On arrival at the Tsavo East National Park gate, you will begin the safari game drive looking for animals just after entry and then progress towards the lodge scouting for any resident wildlife that call Tsavo East it's home.
Tsavo is one of the world’s largest wildlife sanctuaries, with an estimated size of 22,000Km2. It is most popular for its dust covered red elephant herds, its maneless lions and a variety of other wild animals including leopards, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo and other plains game. You will then check in and enjoy lunch followed by some relaxation.
Later in the afternoon, 1600hrs, you will depart for another series of game viewing in search of more animals and birds. We thereafter return to the lodge before sunset for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Tsavo East National Park
Embark for an early morning drive in search of the big cats returning from their nocturnal hunts only after a quick cup of tea or coffee. Return back to the lodge for a full breakfast.
You may choose to relax at the lodge or at about 10h30 depart for a short optional game drive returning to the lodge in time for lunch.
Relax and enjoy the swimming pool until about 16h00 when you start your evening Game Drive looking for more wildlife. Just before sunset, return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi / Mombasa
Enjoy hot coffee/tea in the morning at the lodge before you leave for an early morning game drive in search of animals and big cats that may have come out into the open during the night. After the game drive you will then return to the lodge for a full breakfast.
You will later on check out from the lodge at about 1000hrs, and depart to Nairobi hotel or at your beach hotel in Mombasa. Thus completing the 3 days Tsavo East safari.
