Day 1
Isebania to Musoma
Musoma sits on the eastern edge of Lake Victoria, close to the International borders of Tanzania with Kenya and Uganda. Musoma is located approximately 60 km, directly south of the geographical point where the borders of the three East African countries intersect. It is rich in history and the land is fairly fertile for cultivating maize, millet and cotton. The locals here also engage in fishing as a pastime and income earner. Due to its location it is not a touristdestination, but rather a stop-over town en-route to other areas.

Day 2
Musoma to (West) Serengeti National Park
The drive to Serengeti is long but scenery is spectacular, especially as you approach the entrance to the “Endless Plains”. The park has 18,000km2 and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. Its home to the Great Migration of which over 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and antelopes traverse every year. A destination with plenty of Big Cats and other predators such as the African Painted Wolf, stripped hyenas, jackals and cheetahs.

You will enjoy a full day of an enchanting experience game driving across the Serengeti Plains. You’ll visit southern Serengeti and Ndutu region, during this time of year (January) its where herds congregate on the lush green plains to graze and to calve. This time of year is also perfect for spotting numerous migratory bird species in the park.

Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Start off your day with one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness then proceed towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The 8th wonder of the Natural World the crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls, making it virtually a Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains.

Karatu to Lake Natron
Classified as a Ramsar site {Wetland of international importance}, Natron is an Alkaline lake home to endemic algae, invertebrates and birds. The lake is the only regular breeding area in East Africa for over 2.5 million Lesser flamingo whose status is “near threatened” due to their dependency on this destination.

Lake Natron to Tarangire National Park to Arusha
Covering an area of 2,600 square kilometers, The Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season which sees about 250,000 animals enter the park. The park lies between the meadows of Masai Steppe to the south east and the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the north and west. Within the northern part of Tarangire is the permanent River Tarangire also known as the life-line of the park particularly in the dry season when
most of the region is totally dry.
