Itinerary.

Day 1: Nairobi / Maasai Mara National Reserve 

• The drive to Maasai Mara from Nairobi will head west down the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
• You will have a stopover at the great Rift Valley View point. Your guide will spare atleast 15 minutes for you to have photos and give you a brief about the history of the Great Rift Valley.
• Thereafter, you’ll travel across the “breakfast” of Kenya, so named due to its of wheat and barley before you reach the Mara in time for lunch.
• You will then spend time as you relax until 1600hrs when you will leave for an afternoon Game drive viewing.
• As you set for this game drive in the reserve, which is regarded as the most magnificent natural theatre in the world, be on te lookout for the Big 5, bird view among other fascinating sceneries.
• Indeed masai Mara National Reserve will prove to be the home to the highest concentration of animals and birds anywhere on the continent, you might wish to visit time and again.

Day 2: Maasai Mara Full Day Game Drive View.

Enjoy an early morning tea or coffee and then embark on a full day of game viewing in the Mara.

Highlight:

• This is a reserve of breath-taking vistas and panoramic views of vast rolling plains, hills and woodland groves.
• It is well-watered by the lovely Mara River, which bisects the reserve from north to south.
• The Mara is home to the largest population of lions in Kenya, and these magnificent beasts spend most of the day sleeping in the shade of acacia trees.
• Vast herds of buffalo, zebra and wild beast also roam the plains. Impala, gazelle, giraffe and hartebeest grace the landscape, and the cautious topi may also be seen standing sentinel on earth mounds on constant lookout for predators.
• The waters of the Mara River are home to crocodiles and pools of hippo, the acacia woodlands and riverine forests are favoured by leopards and elephants and the open savannah and dry bush areas play host to the plains game and their attendant predators (including lion, cheetah, hyena and jackal).

Day 3: Maasai Mara / Lake Nakuru National Park 

• Depart the Mara after breakfast and then drive the Lake Shore Hotel via the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
• You will experience breath-taking views of the world’s greatest land rift and arrive at the hotel in time for lunch.
• After lunch you will go on an evening game drive in the park.

Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or similar.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru / Amboseli National Park 

• After breakfast you will begin your safari by driving south towards Amboseli National Park.
• In the heart of the park lies an amazing swamp fed by underground springs from the melting snows of Mount Kilimanjaro, which attracts elephants and hippos are in abundance. Amboseli is justly famous for its big game, particularly its elephants, which are the most studied in the world.
• You will arrive in time for lunch at your luxury lodge and then spend the afternoon at your leisure before heading out on a game drive.
• Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Dinner and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp or similar.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park 

• Enjoy a day of game driving in the park while dust devils swirl around its edges.
• An early morning drive gives you the best chance of viewing Mt. Kilimanjaro, as the clouds tend to build up as the day progresses.
• Return to the lodge for breakfast and then partake in some leisure time before lunch.
• You will go on afternoon game drive until the late evening before returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6: Amboseli National Park / Nairobi 

Head out on an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast.

You will then check out and drive to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at the airport or your place of residence.

• Watching the clouds of pink huge flocks of flamingoes which visit the still waters of the lake to feed on the algae.
• wildlide: Catch the view of the phenomenon white and black rhino, the lion, leopard, hyena among other animals.
